Bug Busters Competition
It is a Debugging Competition consisting of two rounds in different languages (C/Java/Python/Scilab) as chosen by the participant. Its objective was to help students brush up their fundamental coding and debugging skills, to improve their focus during analysing critical situation. This will help students to enhance their coding skills therefore attracting recruiters and to work effectively by accessing their own strengths and weaknesses.
Online Workshop on “Introduction to Microbit using Tinkercad”
IEEE-DBIT in collaboration with IETE-DBIT conducted a workshop on Introduction to Microbit using the online simulator Tinkercad as a part of colosseum fest 2021. The aim of this workshop was to learn about the basics of controllers and processors , various sensors , circuit designing skills and learn some hands-on application to use in real time.
Poster Making Competition
The Poster Making Competition was an event for the participants to make posters using any software or handmade in A4 size portrait mode. The topics included for the poster making competition included the following:
(a) Electric vehicle
(b) Nano-technology
(c) Future of AI
(d) 5G technology
(e) OLED(Organic light emitting diode)
(f) Any topic of your choice in the field of Engineering and technology
Its objective was to make students aware of the current topics related to science and technology and to improve the creativity and visualizing skills.
Technical Writing Competition
The Technical Writing Competition is an event for the participants to write original reports based on their views. The topics included for the Technical Writing Competition included the following:
(a) Write a technical brochure to explain 3 features of any newly launched mobile.
(b) Write a technical report of all shortcomings you have observed into any software of your choice.
(c) Make a report of technical interview you have seen.
The objective was to make students aware of the current topics related to science and technology and to represent the different views based on existing and the future technology.
